1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using WritePage ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. WritePage is operated by WritePage ("we," "our," or "us").

2. Description of Service

WritePage is an all-in-one publishing platform that provides blog hosting, newsletter delivery, and analytics. The Service is available via writepage.net and associated subdomains. We offer free and paid subscription tiers with varying feature limits as described on our pricing page.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create, upload, or publish through WritePage, including blog posts, images, templates, and newsletter content ("Your Content").

By publishing content on WritePage, you grant us a limited license to host, display, distribute, and deliver Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. This license ends when you delete Your Content or close your account.

You are solely responsible for Your Content. You represent that you have the necessary rights to publish all content you upload and that Your Content does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use WritePage to:

• Publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or fraudulent
• Send spam or unsolicited bulk email through the newsletter system
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without permission
• Use the Service to collect personal data of others without consent

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines, with or without notice, depending on the severity of the violation.

6. Subscription Plans and Billing

WritePage offers Free, Writer ($15/month), and Studio ($39/month) subscription tiers. Annual billing is available at a 20% discount. Prices are in USD.

• Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
• You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time.
• Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
• Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
• Exceeding tier limits (subscriber count, blog count, etc.) may require an upgrade.

7. Custom Domains

Paid plans allow you to connect a custom domain to your blog. You are responsible for domain registration, renewal, and DNS configuration. We provide setup instructions but do not guarantee compatibility with all domain registrars. WritePage is not liable for domain-related issues outside our control.

8. Newsletter and Email

WritePage provides newsletter functionality subject to the following rules:

• All newsletter subscribers must opt in via double confirmation.
• You must provide a working unsubscribe mechanism (handled automatically by WritePage).
• You may not import email lists obtained without explicit consent.
• Sending limits are determined by your subscription tier.
• We reserve the right to suspend newsletter privileges if abuse is detected.

9. AI Features

WritePage offers AI-powered features including theme generation, writing assistance, and analytics insights. AI-generated content is provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy. You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI suggestions before publishing. AI credit usage is limited by tier and resets monthly.

10. Intellectual Property

The WritePage platform, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is owned by WritePage and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service. The WritePage name and logo are our trademarks and may not be used without permission.

11. Availability and Uptime

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance in advance.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WritePage shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

14. Termination

You may close your account at any time. Upon account closure:

• Your blogs will become inaccessible to the public.
• Your data will be retained for 30 days for recovery purposes, then permanently deleted.
• Active subscriptions will be cancelled; no refund is provided for unused time unless within the 14-day window.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately for violations of these Terms, particularly for abuse, spam, or illegal activity.

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the platform at least 30 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration.
